"Day by Day," the popular song from Godspell, is based on a prayer from the Middle Ages composed by Richard of Chichester, a saint remembered for his humility, his perseverance in times of hardship, his care for the poor, and the strength and generosity of his faith.
In these theological meditations, with musical compositions including selections performed by Benjamin Borsch, Fred Borsch uses the life of Richard to illuminate and guide us as we seek day by day to see more clearly, love more dearly and follow God more nearly.
Anthems, songs and hymns are sung by the Princeton University Chapel Choir and the Choir of the Lutheran Theological Seminary at Philadelphia.
